How to Apply: Complete the Membership Application Form and upload the required documents. Profiles are evaluated by the editorial board and selected applicants receive a confirmation email.

Who can become a Reviewer

Ph.D. in engineering or related discipline, OR
Completed or pursuing a Master’s in engineering with relevant research/teaching experience

Who can join as a Representative

Professors, Lecturers, Research Scholars, Authors
Existing IJERT Reviewers and Authors
Those actively mentoring or promoting research activities

How It Works – Step by Step

Nomination

A registered member may nominate a student, scholar or colleague to submit a paper. The nominee must provide the registered referral ID during submission for identification.

Publication Process

Nominees follow the standard, impartial peer-review process. Acceptance is based on quality, originality and relevance – not on referral status.

Recognition & Reward

After successful publication of a referred paper, the referring member receives ₹ 500 Cash Reward credited to their IJERT-MRP account. 1 point = ₹1

Redeeming Points

Points are redeemable once the balance reaches 1500 Cash rewards points. Redemption options include publication fee discounts, reviewer certificates and conference discounts. Points are not direct cash payouts.

Ethical & Professional Guidelines

Integrity:

Nominations must be genuine and based on authentic academic relationships.

Independence in Review:

Reviewers must not review papers they have nominated.

Transparency:

Reviewer–author relationships should be disclosed if requested by the editorial office.

Academic Quality:

Only submissions meeting IJERT standards qualify for publication.

No Commercial Incentives:

The programme is mentorship and recognition focused – not a money-for-referrals scheme.

Misuse Prevention:

Unethical acts (fake referrals, plagiarism) will result in disqualification and forfeiture of points.

Example Scenario

Dr. Meera Sharma mentors student Ravi Kumar. Ravi’s paper is published in IJERT and Dr. Sharma receives ₹ 500 Academic Cash Reward Points, which she redeems as a publication fee discount on a future submission (can pay partially for any paper using cash rewards).

Terms & Conditions

Referred authors must complete the full publication process ethically.

Points are credited only after successful publication.

Reviewers can view points and referral records in their IJERT-MRP dashboard.

1 Reward Point = ₹1 (redeemable after reaching 1500 points).

IJERT reserves the right to update programme policies to protect academic integrity.
