Abstract
This paper reviews College Crew, a web-based Alumni Management System designed to facilitate stronger connections between a college and its alumni community. Developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with XAMPP as the server environment, the system provides a structured platform for alumni to engage with their institution through event participation, job opportunities, forums, and gallery updates. Administrators are equipped with tools to manage users, events, job postings, courses, and institutional information through an integrated dashboard.
The review evaluates the systems functional coverage, user interface design, and administrative capabilities, highlighting its effectiveness in streamlining alumni engagement and communication. Observations indicate that "College Crew" successfully addresses common challenges faced in traditional alumni networks, such as lack of centralized information and limited interaction. However, areas for potential improvement include enhancing real-time notifications and implementing stronger security measures. Overall, the system represents a significant step toward modernizing alumni relations through an accessible, user-friendly digital platform.

In recent years, the role of alumni associations has expanded significantly as educational institutions increasingly recognize the importance of maintaining active relationships with their graduates. A well-connected alumni network not only strengthens institutional reputation but also opens opportunities for mentorship, fundraising, and community engagement. However, managing large volumes of alumni data, events, job opportunities, and communication channels
manually or through outdated systems often results in inefficiencies and reduced alumni participation.
To address these challenges, institutions are turning to dedicated Alumni Management Systems that leverage web technologies to streamline interactions and services. This paper reviews College Crew, a web-based alumni management platform designed to modernize alumni engagement for educational institutions. Developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and hosted on a XAMPP server, College Crew aims to provide a centralized and user-friendly environment for alumni to stay connected with their alma mater.
The review focuses on evaluating the systems key functionalities, user experience, administrative tools, and overall effectiveness in meeting the needs of alumni and administrators. It also discusses the strengths and potential areas for enhancement within the system.
