Abstract

Abstract: Advances in Wireless Sensor Network has led to large scale development.WSN technology has been provided with the ability of small nodes with sensing, computation ,and the wireless communication capabilities .In WSN ,a large number of constrained attached to the sensor nodes which have a limited transmission range ,less processing capability ,low storage capability ,and as well as their energy resources are also inadequate. In WSN ,the routing protocols are responsible for maintaining the routes in the network .It also ensures reliable multi-hop communication under these conditions .This paper gives a review on the routing protocols that are used in the WSN and compare their strengths and limitations.
