Abstract

In this paper, we develop a low complexity energy efficient OFDMA system. Energy efficiency is one of the important facts in wireless communication. The goal of this paper is to maximize the energy efficiency of OFDMA systems. To obtain the solution for subchannel and power allocation a single non-linear equation has used. This maximizes the energy efficiency of the OFDMA systems from base station under proportional rate constraints and total power constraints. The convergence of the proposed algorithm is guaranteed, while in previous work is not guaranteed. The dynamic channel assignment (DCA) is used to improve energy efficiency and minimize the complexity of the algorithm. Simulation results show that the low complexity energy efficient OFDMA systems under proportional rate constraints.
